Fora Physiotherapy is located in the Yellowed Business Center just off of Highway 16. You will park in the south (BACK) parking lot and come in the south door. Go up the staircase on your left hand side and then enter into Suite "E". You will see Fora Physiotherapy on the right hand side.
Nope! Just come on in! Physiotherapists are first contact, primary health care professionals that have the privilege to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, will be charged 50% of the total appointment cost for their 1st late cancellation and 100% of the total appointment cost for their 2nd late cancellation or no show.
For appointments scheduled on Mondays, or days after Statutory holidays, cancellations MUST be received prior to 4:00pm on Friday to avoid a late cancellation fee.
We want to ensure that our therapists time is valued and that our community has the opportunity to benefit from our services. Thank you for your understanding.

Wear something that you are comfortable in that allows for movement. If you are coming for any lower extremity injuries (i.e., hip, knee, ankle) please bring shorts with you.
Every pelvic floor assessment always starts with a detailed verbal history of your presenting concern. We will review your applicable past medical history, and ask appropriate questions pertaining to things such as your pain, bladder & bowel function, sexual function, or stress management.
This is followed by an external or an objective assessment. We use this to look at you as a whole person and determine what could be contributing to your concern. This typically involves assessing things such as posture and alignment, movement patterns, breathing, and tissue mobility & strength.
Depending on your concern, sometimes an internal examination is indicated to further assess these tissues to determine their role. We only ever perform these examinations if necessary, and after gaining proper consent from the patient.
Once we have gathered all the information, the course of treatment is determined and you will be educated on your findings and sent home with a personalized treatment plan that may include things such as breathing techniques, stretches and/or exercises and more..
