Kiara was born and raised in Lloydminster. She completed her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2018 at the University of Saskatchewan.
Growing up playing competitive sports, Kiara had her fair share of injuries. Physiotherapy helped her to play at her best and grew her interest for pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. Since graduating in 2018 Kiara has worked in private practice where she gained experience working with all age groups with a wide range of musculoskeletal and vestibular concerns.
In the past year, Kiara started to see the wait times to get into a physical therapist become longer. Having family members and friends giving birth, Kiara also started to see and hear about the gap in the healthcare system, specifically for women pre and postpartum. This is why Kiara pursued further training in the area of Pelvic Health, to help educate, empower, and help fill the gap of the healthcare system.
While treating pelvic health patients, Kiara is also excited to continue to treat any patients with musculoskeletal and vestibular concerns.
Outside of being a Physiotherapist, Kiara can be found doing anything Foley Bucking Bulls at the Black Coulee Ranch. She spends majority of her free time cowboying their bucking bull herd alongside of her boyfriend, James.
Doing anything outdoors and sports are at the top of Kiara's books; camping, roping and riding, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, hockey, soccer and slo-pitch just to name a few.
Kiara is so excited to provide you with quality, one-on-one care in an easy-going, comfortable and uplifting space, where you can feel heard, empowered, and have fun with your rehabilitation journey!
